In 2020, Jordan Brand opened its first store in the Philippines. Located in the country’s capital, Manila, the 2 floor store features a wide variety of Jordan Brand apparel, accessories and sneakers. Alongside the grand opening, Jordan Brand paid homage to the home country’s love of basketball with the highly limited release of the Air Jordan IV Retro Manila.

The pair is dressed in a predominantly green upper, a nod to the lush tropics of the Philippines, and features premium materials such as the ostrich print leather on the tongue and stingray textured leather on the mudguard. To further elevate the design, the pair features black interior lining, a quilted insole and lightly waxed black laces as well as black suede midsoles. The tags, heel and outsoles are accented with yellow, red and blue to represent the colors of the country’s flag.

With only 150 pairs ever released, this pair is numbered 143 on both the tongue and the special box. The premium application of materials and textures, combined with the highly limited geographic release, made these some of the most sought after pairs in the international market ever released by the Jordan Brand.
